This is an outstanding facility; the care given the animals is superior to any place we've seen. The owner and staff are really dedicated too high quality animal care and it shows. We have been clients for 15 years with both cats and dogs. The animals were lovingly cared for each time.

Je suis certaine que tous les médicaments seront administrés ponctuellement et de plus j'ai remarqué que les employés étaient toujours très respectueux des besoins des animaux qui leur étaient confiés, que ce soit les médicaments, le toilettage ou les repas administrés. I let my two dogs regularly at the Manor Kanisha and I highly recommend this kennel. The care given to my dogs are very professional. I am sure that all drugs will be given, more time and I noticed that employees were always very respectful of the needs of animals in their care whether administering drugs, grooming or meals.

As a former employee of Manoir Kanisha (2004-2005) and (2009-2010) I chose to leave the Manoir voluntarily (as did other employees) both times due to unsanitary work conditions, severe rodent infestations, a kennel full of mold with a stench so awful no client is allowed in and last but not least the owner's lack of respect for the staff and her own animals. Kia the beagle, Jade the Chessie, Buddy the Golden, Jessy the lab, Victor and Jagger, Murray the French Bulldog, Baxter the Golden, Adriane the American Hairless Terrier, Elvis and Presley the Bouviers, Angel the Mini Schnauzer, all the animals left in the care of the staff were always treated with the utmost care and respect by the employees that grew to love them all. Unfortunately, I had to walk away from a job I loved and can only imagine what she has told clients happened to me now that I am no longer there. As an animal lover I documented my time there with hundreds of pictures and have pictures to back up EVERY single claim I have made here. Please be aware that the staff is subjected to work in dangerous and unsanitary conditions without the proper equipment and the one's that stay, stay because they truly love their jobs and the animals they care for. Dogs are not taken out three times as day as advertised and never were when I worked there in 2004-2005 and 2009-2010. They are lucky if they go out once a day. Please be cautious when using this kennel and ALWAYS ask to see where your dog is going. The staff is wonderful and the animals are treated very well by the staff. Medications are given as directed and on time and no animals has ever been mistreated during the time I was there.

We are the rather doting owners of a very active beagle who has been a friend of the Manoir Kanisha since she was a very young puppy, only about 5 months old. Today, she is 8.5 years old and when she hears us pick up the phone in the morning to make a call she heads straight to the door and waits impatiently. She then proceeds to look at us as if to say: “are we leaving yet?” All that is left at this point is to ask her if she wants to go to the “farm”, which is how she knows the kennel, and her excitement becomes complete. Because we both travel for business and have no kids at home, we have used the kennel’s service on a monthly and often weekly basis consistently over the years. And when we are not traveling, but have late meetings or events or if the beagle could just use a little exercise and chance to socialize she is always happy to head to the “farm”. The fact that she loves to go to the Manoir Kanisha makes it so much easier to part with her, as I know that she is enjoying herself and time has proven that she is always well taken care of by people who love and understand dogs; this is evident in the way that she lights up when she sees the handlers, some of whom have known her since she was a puppy. Over the years we have also come to know the staff that works the front of the kennel and they are always warm, friendly, accommodating and patient, even with our erratic and sometimes ever changing schedules. We also found Nicole to be very knowledgeable and willing to share behavioural advice in the early years, when training a beagle can be a seemingly impossible task, and at various points since then, whether pertaining to our dog or someone else’s. What does all of this really mean to me? Peace of mind. When we have to be out of town, I know our dog is safe and happy and not pining for her humans. Thank you!

I would highly recommend Manoir Kanisha for boarding animals - short or long term. My dog, a Chessie has been going on a regular basis for 9 years and she loves it. When we turn on Jenkins St. she knows where she is going and gets very excited. She does Day Care a couple of days a week and when I go on vacation, she has stayed up to two weeks. I feel very comforted knowing that Nicole and her staff are caring for my dog. I have no worries that she is being cared for in the best way possible. M Sergakis, Dorval

the staff is not very friendly and the owner is over her head, she is very annoying, my dog came back with a bloody tail and nose and full of mats. I have no idea what goes on in there but beware do not go to this kennel if you care about your pets please pass the info on. I'm a serious, it happened to my friend too oh yah and the receptionist are very immature and have too much attitude, i asked them what happened to my dog and they said well stuff happens its not a big deal :o
